The launch of Vortex 3 by the French manufacturer Zodiac has been a storm in the pool robot industry. The Vortex 3 uses the patented cyclone or Vortex technology which helps it create a perpetual whirlpool inside the filter and has a great suction system. The motors in the robot are placed in an inclined way which makes it even more efficient. This makes the suction more constant and powerful and when compared to the traditional robots it is about 30% more powerful.

The zodiac vortex 3 has two cleaning modes and does both of them in a relatively fast time. The first being the bottom only or the mode where it cleans the floor of the pool only, it does it in one hour and thirty minutes. In the second mode the robot cleans the walls of the pool along with the floor of the pool and takes two hours and thirty minutes to do the same. When compared to the manual cleaning modes, the Vortex 3 cleans better and does the same work saving 60% of time.

The wide mouth that the robot has makes it easy to gulp down any kinds of debris without any hassles. The large dirt bag present in the top prevents from any kind of clogging or fouling and thus helps to work even longer. The brushes present in the front rotate at very high speeds making the suction of water even more effective.

The vortex 3 is designed to clean pools having the dimensions of 12X6 meters and is independent of the platform. By platform it is meant that the coating of the pools such as concrete or polyester shells etc. The robot also works equally for any shape of the pool be it square, round, steep, rectangular or any free shaped also.
